About

Conduct general research on motorcycles and riding, and identify issues and areas that may be improved

Background

There are not a few people who use motorcycles as a means of transportation in daily life, but the dashboard of motorcycles has many restrictions, so it is impossible to achieve the functionality of the dashboard of a car.

Secondary
Research

Conduct research on motorcycle riders, helmets, driving safety, etc.

Existing
Product

There are currently two types of products. One is an external screen, and the other is to get the desired function in the helmet.

Interview

Finding out if riders are getting any trouble with riding right now

Analyze & Define

About

Through research on motorcycle riding, I decided to refine the problem further and determine my focus.

Problem
Statement

During riding, the viewing angle of the dashboard when riding is inconsistent with the riding angle; when wearing a helmet, there will be a large blind spot only by relying on the rearview mirror. These will cause the problems, even accidents

Persona

During the research process, we found that users' motivations and needs for using Nintendo Switch can be divided into two general types, which we integrated.

About

In order to meet the different needs of different user groups, the design needs to include multiple directions. After sorting and integrating all the needs, we carried out the design.

Concept

Allow riders to better understand their vehicle conditions, enjoy riding, and get more convenient services while riding

Sketch

Designed a brand new helmet for motorcyclists that can have a screen on the goggles. This setup satisfies the need to display multiple pieces of information securely.

Storyboard

This is a storyboard based on Jamie, who seems to have his issues fixed and have a nice ride.

Visual
Identity

A helmet-like shape was chosen as the logo, and a font and palette that is both dynamic and highly readable was selected to match the overall visual presentation.
